Still married to Mary - over 40 years! Susan, Dan, and 4 grandsons in Winnetka. Bill, Colleen, and 2 granddaughters in Indianapolis.
... my work
Retired. But I still teach a math course most semesters.
... my interests
Gardening, especially daffodils, computers, music (mostly jazz), photography, and still a bit of ham radio (W9ZSJ). Still math, mostly linear algebra and Fourier things. I spend some time being a Rotarian and do the weekly newsletter. Weekly I punish myself and those I play tennis with while trying to relive my youth. For relaxation I still read math journals. (THAT was more than you wanted to know!)
... my likes
The morning comics, my iBook, making piles of papers and books in my home office, beer and pizza after tennis, playing with grandkids, traveling with Mary.
... my dislikes
Arthritic thumbs and other assorted aches and pains, reality shows, creeping charley, buckthorn, garlic mustard, purple loosestrife and the people who leave muddy ruts along our street.
